Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP): The ELOP grant at Kings River Union Elementary provides funding for afterschool and summer enrichment programs for students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Expanded learning refers to before-school, after-school, summer, or intersession programs that address the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences.

After School Education and Safety (ASES) Grant Program: The ASES program at Monson Sultana Elementary provides students with opportunities for literacy development, academic enrichment, and safe, constructive activities after school. This program serves as a foundational support system for students, operating 180 days per year, immediately following the regular school day.
