Provide resources through a variety of programs for the purpose of assisting low-income individuals.

Community services block grants (csbg) - program provides community programming to the three county service area. The neighborhood service centers are funded through csbg. These centers provide information and referral for all of gmn's programs and a community forum (policy advisor council) through which low income persons can have their concerns heard. The purpose of the neighborhood service centers is to provide any servies that is beneficial for a better way of life for the low income, aged, handicapped, or socially unacceptable persons. Many services are available through the central office and the various programs therein.

Home energy assistance program (heap) - a federally funded program that assists income eligible households whose heating services are disconnected, in threat of disconnection, or have less than a ten day supply of bulk fuel. The program can also assist clients with deposits for primary and/or secondary heat sources to establish service.

Weatherization assistance provides low income households with assistance in weatherizing their homes. Broadband services assist the rural area in connecting with larger municipal areas and provides the needed access for low income areas. Senior services provide assistance and activities for the senior population in the three county service area.
