Gaffney Local Development Corporation

See schedule o the general purpose of the corporation shall be to assist in the physical, social and economic development of the city of gaffney and its environs by assisting the growth and development of business concerns and by strengthening the quality of the areas's residential base and to engage in those activities which are in futherence of or related to the purpose herein stated. The principal object of the corporation shall be to benefit the community by fostering increased employment opportunities for the citizens of the area, lessening the burdens of government and combating blight and deteriotation.
