Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA) is dedicated to supporting visual arts through exhibitions, workshops and programming.
Programs

Workshops, Classes, Networking, and Mentoring: In 2024 GFAA hosted 5 workshops, continued the weekly Open Studio program, and the monthly Artists Meet-Up events where the artists come together to talk about the work in the current exhibitions. 4 quarterly member meetings were held with engaging guest speakers.
Community Outreach Exhibitions, Activities, and Community Collaborations: In 2024, GFAA continued to offer ongoing exhibits in community public venues, including a major medical plaza, restaurants, and a church. We held our annual Studio Tour where visitors can tour various artists studios; continued the collaboration with the Friends of Elementary Arts Exhibition, offered one month of in-kind week-long exhibition space to artists for solo or curated show opportunities, held our national biennial nation juried exhibition based on a book in collaboration with the Lynx Bookstore, and hosted an Afro-futurism exhibition with the University of Florida, and held a Rosewood Memorial exhibition with the Real Rosewood Foundation, Inc.
