Mission
To stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening; to share the advantages of membership by means of educational meetings, conferences, correspondence and publications; to restore, improve and protect the quality of the environment through programs and action in the fields of conservation and civic improvement; to beautify east hampton through the creation and maintenance of public gardens including the mary nimmo moran garden, the mimi meehan native plant garden, rachel's historic dooryard garden at mulford farm, the millstone garden park on main street, the brick courtyard garden at the east hampton library, the pollinator garden at east hampton town hall, the brightwell heritage apple trees at mulford farm, the amagansett orchid project, and in collaboration with others, the east hampton railroad station, the east hampton post office, and the nature trail on david's lane.
