Mission statement:the gicia is dedicated to preserving the integrity of the gasparilla island conservancy district act, enhancing conservancy properties, maintaining the bike path, and encouraging inititives that benefit our island community.significant activities:own and maintain 5 miles of bike and walking path used by residents and visitors. Own and maintain more than 275 acres of environmentally sensitive property as a part of our land conservancy. Work to see that the integrity of the gasparilla island conservation district 0f 1980 is maintained by both lee and charlotte counties.
