Preservation of 3 historic sites (other than museum). Spring Valley Schoolhouse a turn of the century schoolhouse routinely used for current day class visitation; Starcke House, a period home used for tours and available to public for meetings and special events; and, St. Joseph Catholic Church, a historic church and cemetery located in rural Geary Co. Also provide research for, and participate in, efforts for the preservation of other local historic sites.
Historic Preservation & Conservation: Local depository for old county records; active geneology group provides research to public; and acquire and maintain artifacts.
