Mission

Generation serve is dedicated to helping youth spark a love for volunteering to grow into community-minded leaders and changemakers.

Programs

2 programs

Teen programming: generation serve's teen leadership program empowered youth across central texas to develop leadership, communication, and civic engagement skills while serving their community. Under the guidance of our teen programs manager, participants organized and led volunteer projects, recruited peers to get involved, and supported local nonprofits through service in key areas such as animal welfare, environmental stewardship, youth support, and food insecurity. Through the teen advisory board, generation serve facilitated 65 free teen service days, providing hundreds of teenagers with meaningful opportunities to lead and give back.

Expenses: $77K

Little helpers program: generation serve's little helpers program introduced young children, ages 3 to 5, to community service through age-appropriate, family-oriented volunteer activities. In 2024, families participated in projects that promoted compassion, teamwork, and civic responsibility while supporting our local nonprofit partners. Under the guidance of our little helpers program manager, children engaged in hands-on activities such as packing meals, creating cards for seniors, organizing donation drives, and helping animals in need. These experiences helped young volunteers understand the importance of kindness and service, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to giving back.
