Mission
Genius' primary exempt purpose is to provide comprehensive academic and social-emotional support to students and families to empower them as community leaders and essential components of their children's success. Our largest program services include our individualized, competency-based academic enrichment program, Genius MAP, which serves 120 third grade students at Huffman Academy with a mission to nurture academic potential, identify purpose, and foster passion through mastery, autonomy, and purpose. We also offer a 4-week summer program, Camp Fire, serving 80 students with math, reading, and social-emotional learning. In addition, we provide weekly in-person round table discussions with students to deliver lessons that strengthen social-emotional growth year-round. Our objectives are to provide students with the skills and tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, and to support parents as leaders and partners in their child's education.
