The mission of the organization is to provide education to Public P;an Trustees in the State of Georgia. This is primarily done through an annual Trustee School and an Educational Conference

Conferences are the biggest service revenue accomplishment. The organization is committed to providing the required fiduciary educational curriculum to promote accreditation. The Trustee School was held in Columbus, GA in September of 2024. Over 200 people attended the conference.
GAPPT held a special event at a Major League Baseball venue (Atlanta Braves) to continue the popularity of "informal" face-to-face interactions between members and consultants. Over 80 members attended.
