Georgia bikes' mission is to improve bicycling conditions and promote bicycling safety throughout the state of georgia.

Education: georgia bikes / go georgia held a successful bike-walk-live summit in decatur,with 150 registrants and sessions covering infrastructure ,policy and safety,as well as mobile workshops.we also provided safe cycling education and training for children and adults across the state,driver training to make people safer as they walk and bike,and law enforcement training to teach police how to protect people walking and biking.we also began the process of overhauling our safety education offerings and incorporating pedestrian-focused content into most areas.
Technical assisstance: georgia bikes/go georgia officially began offering services under our new grants assistance program to increase the quantity and quality of planning and infrastructure projects supporting safe walking and biking in georgia.work in 2024 included securing additional funding beyond 2023 levels,compiling a comprehensive database of state and federal funding sources that communities can use to plan and build bike/walk infrastructure and offering both educational and direct technical assistance to cities and counties.
