COMPREHENSIVE SEX EDIn 2024, we continued to lead the charge statewide delivering sex ed that helps young people build health relationships, understand consent and boundaries, and prevent unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Expenses: $534K

YOUTH EMPOWERMENTIn 2024, we deepened our investment in youth leadership through GCAPP's Youth Advisory Council (YAC). With 68 members across 25 counties, the YAC represents diverse voices and lived experiences. YAC members participated in statewide convenings, contributed to policy conversations, and supported programming on key issues like mental health, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and education opportunities. In collaboration with adult allies, GCAPP youth developed localized Youth Action Plans-real solutions to address wellness gaps in their communities. The First Annual Rising Leaders Luncheon featuring guest speaker, Killer Mike, mobilized our donor community, raised critical funds for our mission, and honored the contributions of our Youth Advisory Council and adult allies. During the luncheon, Jenny Tham was presented with the Youth Ambassador of the Year Award, recognizing her powerful voice, peer leadership, and tireless work to uplift youth across Georgia.

Expenses: $246K

Parent EngagementIn 2024, we deepened our engagement with thousands of families across Georgia. Our GCAPP Parent Toolkit continued to be a vital resourcegiving families accessible, judgment-free support to help them become "askable adults." Campaigns like Let's Talk Month and our interactive webinars helped turn awkward silences into meaningful conversations that keep youth informed, respected, and safe.We also created space for connection and peer learning through live events like our Parent Caf Chats and Let's Talk Month: Fatherhood Edition. These moments reminded us that it's not about perfect parentingit's about being present, informed, and open.
