Mission
The organizations primary exempt purpose is to organize and administer 4-H programs in Bryan County Georgia. Membership consists of 1028 students between the ages of 9 and 19. 4-H is the youth program of the University of Georgia-Cooperative Extension. Cooperative Extension offers educational programs assistance and materials to all people without regard to race color natural origin age sex or disability. 4-H assists youth in acquiring knowledge developing skills and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing,productive and contributing members of society. This is accomplished through hands on learning experiences focused on agricultural awareness leadership communication skills foods and nutrition health energy conservation and citizenship. 4-H members compete in district state and national project competitions and the Summer Camp programs.
