The mission of the georgia healthy family alliance (ghfa) is to serve the people of georgia by enhancing their well-being through educational and outreach programs that promote healthy practices consistent with the principles of family medicine.

Tar wars: be tobacco and vaping free - the alliance works in partnership with members and other groups such as georgia's school nurses to present the nationally recognized tar wars program, a tobacco and vaping education and prevention program, offered at no cost to georgia's schools and youth-related groups. The focus is education on anti-tobacco and vaping messages and providing information to our children before they experiment with unhealthy tobacco or vaping products.
