Civic engagement glahrs civic engagement campaign, la gente vota, was our work during the grant period. The objective was toglahrs civic engagement campaign, la gente vota, was our work during the grant period. The objective was to reach low-propensity voters in key sectors across georgia, concentrating on mobilizing latinx, black, and lgbtq voters for the 2024 election. A culture of voting was promoted as a community advocacy. Our door-to-door canvassing and in-person outreach had reached more than 53,000 voters in 78 counties, particularly in central, south, and southeast areas of the state. Rapid response teams covered 16 counties and 297 precincts in chatham, tift, dougherty, colquitt, bibb, peach, houston, gwinnett, cobb, dekalb, hall, walton, jackson, clarke, oconee and barrow counties. Glahr strengthened its community based. Glahr organized 36 training sessions for staff volunteers and canvasses through all year with the participation of 96 individuals

Coalition building more than 800 people participated in coalition building activities throughout the year which included legislative events at the state capitol and in support of women on the rise, community builders, and project south. Glahrs activities at the capitol included giving testimony at committee hearings, making calls to legislators, and sending emails. Glahr organized may day rally for justice at liberty plaza on may day that was attended by more than 250 people. This was followed by the walk for dignity and respect and a blitz for justice which included local events. Through 2024 glahr took part in 77 meetings, 27 activities and events, and 9 webinars.
