The georgia lions lighthouse foundation provides vision services through education, detection, prevention and treatment.

Programs

1 program

In 2024, the lighthouses vision surgery program coordinated eye surgical services for 195 patients who received 417 surgical procedures at no cost to the patient. Surgical facilitation includes care for the following eye diseases: macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and keratoconus, cataract surgeries and glaucoma treatments. We partner with over two hundred ophthalmologists, surgical facilities and anesthesiologists to ensure quality care for georgians who lack insurance coverage and have incomes at 200% of poverty or below. The value of in-kind services was $656,237.12 in 2024.
