Georgia Partnership For Excellence In Education Inc

The epfp program addresses the need for an education leadership development program in georgia to provide potential leaders with knowledge and networks to advance the core issues of education policy. It serves as a critical resource for individuals, organizations and the state to increase the knowledge about education policy and linkages between policy and practice. Ultimately, epfp seeks to improve the chances of children and youth to succeed. Seven day-long colloquiums, an opening retreat and a national education policy seminar are provided.

The rural initiative encompasses work that enhances the capacity of local georgia civic and education leaders to advance their local birth-to-work pipelines. The initiative distributes mini-grants to local georgia chambers of commerce to improve local college-going and completion rates, highlights local stories of success through a podcast known as "field notes", increases the participation of rural community leaders in non-partisan statewide education policy initiatives, and provides a rural communication network. The communication network included 162 rural education, nonprofit, and business leaders in 2024.

Activities to fulfill mission of the organization includes community presentations and community strategic planning, media symposium for education reporters, and policy forums.
