Georgia Shift

In 2021, the georgia civic campus network, the first statewide campus network in georgia, facilitated first-class civic engagement in partnership with faculty and administrations of colleges, universities, and community colleges across the state. We surpassed all goals for 2021, reaching over 200,000+ students. In 2022, we expanded our college outreach efforts to include historically black colleges and universities across the state and were successful in surpassing our 2022 hbcu initiative goals. In 2023, we: expanded our student ambassador program on the following hbcu campuses: paine college, fort valley state university, savannah state university, and albany state university hosted 2nd annual hbcu summit/pitch competition with partner organizations to engage and encourage organizing around issues most prevalent to students on hbcu campuses.expanded teach-in platforms to technical colleges and universities such as augusta technical college, atlanta technical college, and others. Supported for the third consecutive year in conjunction with national and state organizations, the student voting summit.
