Mission
The team at Gigawatt Impact a U.S. 501c3 non-profit has a proven track record of developing solar and agrivoltaic projects that bring economic and social benefits to rural and historically marginalized communities. A key focus is working with Historically Black Colleges and Universities HBCUs and African American farmers helping them access funding technology and infrastructure to build a sustainable energy future. Gigawatt Impact provides a range of opportunities to drive energy equity and climate justice from small- scale projects benefiting individual institutions to utility-scale solar fields that can power entire communities.
