Giles County Farm Bureau

Agriculture leadership activities the giles county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.

Youth leadership development giles county farm bureau supports youth agriculture organizations both financially and with volunteer hours. The organization is a sponsor of the giles county ffa chapters in both high schools in the county. They make yearly donations to the richland high school ffa chapter and the giles co high ffa chapter.
