The girl scout cookie program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program for girls in the world. The program provides essential components of the girl scout leadership experience (gsle) by helping girls develop five key skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. 2,417 girls participated in the girl scout cookie program.
Girl scouts beyond bars (gsbb) exists to devlop resilience, leadership skills, and healthy family bonds in girls whose parents are incarcreated in order to break the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. The gsbb program currently facilitates transportation for 118 children to visit their parents in prison. In 2024, gsbb supported 142 girls, 61 siblings, and 107 parents, serving a total of 203 children, including 64 newly enrolled participants.
"day camp offered 6 separate camps each 5 days in length with a total of 392 girls, 47 tagalongs, and 171 volunteers. Day camps teach appreciation of the outdoor environment, camping skills and team building. Staff-led troops provided equitable access to girl scout programs for girls in grades k-12 who live in our lowest income and disinvested communities where available volunteers are scarceover 100 other events, including canoe rendevous, aquarium overnight, and pony pals were offered to our girl scouts teaching the apprecation of art, high adventure, travel, leadership, stem, water sports, child care and various other programs, reaching 2,776 girls.
