Entrepreneurial experience: the girl scout entrepreneurial experience programs are an excellent way for members to develop valuable life skills, particularly in financial literacy, sales, and customer service. These programs not only teach our members the fundamentals of entrepreneurship but also help them build confidence and gain real-world experiences that can shape their future careers and leadership abilities. Our product sale programs also have a tangible impact for our members, troops, and organization as a whole. In 2024, badgerland had over 5,800 members participating in our product sales programs while earning more than $1,600,000 in troop proceeds and rewards. These proceeds are then used by our members to support community engagement and further their girl scout leadership experience.
Stem/life skills: the girl scout leadership experience seamlessly integrates the core girl scout programming pillars - outdoors, entrepreneurship experience, stem, and life skills - into a cohesive experience for our youth members. By offering progressive programs that grow with each member, badgerland girl scouts ensures that every girl scout has opportunities for ongoing learning and personal development.the focus of our stem programming is especially impactful, as it fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, all of which are vital skills for success in both academic and professional settings. Similarly, the emphasis on life skills and civic engagement encourages girls to become confident, well-rounded individuals who not only succeed personally but also make meaningful contributions to their communities.
