These factors led to two identified benefits for Parents of youth: Dependable Respite options and Alternate Positive Youth Communication Outlets. Findings support that Girlie Girls Mentoring Program achieves the stated outcomes. Girlie Girls Mentoring Program contributes to 100% of its members advancing in educational requirements from one grade level to the next.
Scholarships Since 2015, the Girlie Girls Mentoring Program, Inc. has awarded our graduating seniors over $45,000 in scholarships. This estimation ranges from $500-$2500 per year. An average of four to six scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors each year. Twenty-five girls have received a scholarship over the past ten years, and 100% have enrolled in a college program. We are honored that dozens of girls and their families have benefited from the scholarships Girlie Girls offers. Preparing the next generation for future career success is a privilege, and GGMP is committed to making a difference in the girls education opportunities by supporting them financially. School Supplies Assistance each year toward the end of the summer, Girlie Girls Mentoring Program purchases school supplies for all its members, fulfilling the required school supply lists provided by their schools.
