Girls inc delaware mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold, by addressing the unique needs of girls through outreach programs, advocacy, and education
Programs
3 programs
School based programs take the girls inc programming to area schools in order to remove barriers to participation. Programs focus on self- confidence and self-worth, while promoting academic success.
Project accelerate provides programming including mentorship, internship placements, access to educational resources, and learning opportunities for young women. Our comprehensive programs advance young women's educational attainment and skill development, positioning them for professional leadership roles in an evolving work environment.
Scholarship program - girls inc. Scholars are outstanding young women selected for their academic achievements and community service, and for exemplifying the girls inc. Mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. For other girls, they are powerful models. Summer camp - we provide various educational programs and recreational activities during a 5 week camp during the summer. The camp creates a supportive inclusive environment where girls can explore their interests, develop friendships and grow personally and academically.
