Girls on the run is a non-profit, community-based prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Our curricula address all aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual well-being. Gotr of northeast florida creates life changing experiences for all girls ages 8-11 by combining training for a 5k run with important life lessons that encourage healthy habits, self-esteem, positive thinking and an active lifestyle. The result is an awesome way of life for a new generation of girls! Girls on the run of northeast florida, inc. Is a non-profit, 501c3 organization whose mission is to "educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living."
