Mission
Giv exists to help blighted and transitional areas regrow via place. Its emphasis on comprehensive area planning, creative branding initiatives, and hands-in-the-dirt program facilitation serve as a type of connective tissue between city and citizen. We look to catalyze sustainable, vibrant, and lasting communities in the places, and for the people, that need it most.

Spacemaking: continued work on developing 66 units of supportive housing in tooele, utah, as well as an adjacent community resource center, daycare, soup kitchen and shelter.
Advocacy: giv communities created a new model for lihtc affordable projects that share the majority of all financial benefits of such properties with the low / moderate income residents that reside within them. This effort helped lead to the creation of a new nonprofit specifically chartered for that task: perpetual housing fund.
