Give Me Shelter Cat Rescues primary purposes are 1) to rescue difficult to adopt adults cats slated for euthanasia from Bay Area Shelters, rehabilitate them as needed, and then place them into loving, permanent homes and 2) to stop the overpopulation of cats through spay/neuter.

Cat Rescue Supplies In 2024, 208 cats slated for euthanasia were rescued from shelters; 227 cats were adopted into loving, permanent homes; $54,920 was spent on supplies necessary for those cats and they were rehabilitated medically and socially. We provided the public and cat owners with information and answers to questions on cat welfare and behavior at weekly adoption events to lessen owner surrenders of cats to local shelters.
Program Services Cleaning, maintenance, and repairs for the Sanctuary where cats are housed until they reach a foster or adoption center, as well as vehicle insurance and gas for cat transports.
