To encourage the sport of boating and promote the science of seamanship and navigation and to encourage personal contact, commingling, and fellowship among boat owners by providing and maintaining on a mutual basis a suitable clubhouse, anchorage, and ancillary facilities for the pleasure, use and recreation of its members and guests.
