Educational outreach. In addition to undertaking research projects, the global aging institute (gai) pursues its broad educational mission by participating in national and international conferences, giving speeches and media interviews, and briefing stakeholders on the challenge of global aging. In 2024, gai gave presentations at events sponsored by, among others, the conference of consulting actuaries, the erisa 50th symposium, the american enterprise institute, and mistra geopolitics.
