With the increase of programs being included as a component of the regular curricula for universities and highschools we have formalized this as a separate program where global brigades enters into contracts with the universities/schools to execute programs.

We have implemented a cost recovery model for certain development projects whereby community member beneficiaries will help subsidize the cost of the program by contributing fees for servcies provided.

To continue executing volunteer programs during the covid-19 pandemic, we have adapted the medical and business program curricula from in person brigade programs into virtual volunteer programs (telebrigades). The success of the virtual program has led universities and schools to offer the programs as a complementary component of their regular course offerings. Expenses include videographers, zoom licences, and on the ground staff (coordinators, translators, doctors) to execute and facilitate the virtual programs.
