Mission
The objectives and purposes of the organization are (1) to empower business schools worldwide to work together to strengthen the contributions of management education to the development needs of society; (2) to foster, promote and encourage education and training in the field of business and business management as a means of contributing to the emergence and growthof organizations meaningfully impact the prosperity and well-being of communities around the world; (3) to assist business schools and universities in identifying, implementing, and leading projects that improve the capacity of business schools globally to provide such education for students and organizations; (4) to promote the free exchange of information and knowledge in business education globally; (5) to facilitate collaborative learning opportunities for students and faculty.

Advisory services: gbsn works with a wide range of institutions, not just members, to facilitate international collaboration in all directions between educators so that schools at different stages of development can learn from one another. Through partnerships with industry, development agencies, foundations, and schools. Gbsn programs build local capacity to deliver quality management education and strengthen contributions to local development needs. Programs provide assistance with strategic planning, faculty development, program design or review. Gbsn's network approach and low management costs provide a cost effective platform to build programs for schools with limited resources.
