Sojourn studio handcrafts beauty to rewrite her story and lift her community. The social enterprise empowers young women and moms on the thailand-myanmar border through dignified work. Artisans gain skills and a supportive community which elevates her ability to reach her full potential. Women earn fair wages, educational scholarships, savings funds, health benefits, and maternity care. Beyond creating beautiful fashion for each customer, women are gaining agency over their lives and the lives of their children.
Freedom restoration project exists to interrupt the narrative of abuse and domestic violence for people in the migrant communities on the border of thailand and burma. Through education, drop-in services and empowerment, frp aims to break the destructive chain of domestic violence.
