CONTINUATION: Here are the core IMPACTS for the year. A cancer collaboration with the University of Texas El Paso and New Mexico State University researchers is in full blast. Working title: CHALLENGES IN TREATING STAGE III AND IV RAS-ASSOCIATED CANCERS. NOVA STORM FIELD SAFETY DEVICE The NOVA STORM FIELD SAFETY DEVICE is more than just a prototype-it's the future of field safety, now fully functional and ready to make a real impact. Designed to save lives in civilian and military environments, this device provides rapid, affordable chemical analysis, offering crucial protection for those working in some of the most hazardous conditions. SPECTRASENSE DNA We believe we've made a groundbreaking discovery in DNA analysis, potentially offering a safer alternative to traditional methods. We call it SpectraSense DNA. Our team has been focused on developing a prototype that allows DNA to be visualized without the use of harmful, cancer-causing chemicals like ethidium bromide or even those that are suspected to cause cancer. Ethidium bromide has long been a staple in molecular biology for its effectiveness in staining DNA, but its carcinogenic properties have raised serious concerns. Our solution, now in the prototype phase, aims to eliminate this risk, creating a safer environment for researchers and minimizing exposure to hazardous substances. We're exploring non-toxic, non-carcinogenic methods of DNA visualization that maintain the clarity and reliability scientists require. This advancement could have far-reaching implications for lab safety and the accessibility and affordability of safer DNA analysis in various fields of science. It's an exciting step forward, and we're committed to refining this prototype to be adopted broadly, ensuring that researchers no longer need to choose between safety and effectiveness when studying genetic material. ADAPTIVE STEM INSTRUMENTS The ADAPTIVE STEM INSTRUMENTS (ASI) project addresses critical gaps in U.S. STEM education that cause major corporate problems, as noted by too many Defense Contractors. How? Not by Workshops, as over 20 years of this, all U.S. university campuses have shown that it does not work [The State of U.S. Science & Engineering 2022. Science & Engineering Indicators, National Science Board, National Science Foundation, https://rb.gy/t3ttac. ADAPTIVE STEM INSTRUMENTS is with Visual Spectroscopy. The current Phase introduces a novel, low-cost instrument that is open-source and right-to-repair, built for less than the price of popular NIKE basketball shoes to ensure affordability and widespread accessibility. Partnering with Dr. Gary Eiceman, a distinguished professor in analytical chemistry, the project nurtures STEM talent and fosters deep scientific literacy. The broader impacts include advancing STEM education, promoting interdisciplinary connections, and preparing students for future technological challenges. ASI equips schools with affordable tools, ensuring students engage in hands-on learning, enhancing critical thinking skills, and understanding real-world applications, such as the visual spectrum. We helped take truly Green Technology to the Black Technology world, which is oil/gas and mining. Our focus is on the mining part, specifically strategic metals like Rare Earth Elements used in high-tech Green Technologies. In short, this green technology can take elements in ion forms in solution and, within 24 hours at room temperature and room pressures [like in your kitchen or living room], create large, non-defective, single-metal metal crystals. The implications are enormous, from technologies that will be developed for Earth's uses to technologies that will be used in Space. The waste can then be used to rejuvenate degraded soils. You should see the simple comparison with old tomato seeds, without the green waste, versus the one with the green waste! The folks driving it will have our Director on that patent application from a law firm in Georgia to submit to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, perhaps including the European equivalent. #BenchMark-BrainRecovery + #ThrivingBabiesThrivingChildren #BenchMark-BrainRecovery As with last year, we continue to seek funding for our small-clinic brain project [#BenchMark-BrainRecovery] using diverse FDA-cleared instruments (i.e., no surgery, no shots, no drinking/eating voodoo stuff, no pills, and no crystal rock therapies).
