Gold has partnered with pats to deliver a program aimed at improving copd outcomes in africa.this program titled, raising copd awareness in africa (race africa)aims to improve doctors knowledgeand practice and community literacy about copd in six african cities: lagos, nigeria, port harcourt, nigeria, addis ababa, ethiopia, doula, cameroon, ouuagadougou,burkina faso: and kigali, rwanda.it comprises a seriesof doctors' education workshops on copd.

Gold is a member of the forum of international respiratory societies and the non communicable disease alliance- both non-profit global societies focusedon raising awareness of respiratory disease. Membership fees in these societies allows gold to advocate world-widee for patients suffering from copd through various campatgns, educational activities and advocacy efforts to influence who initiatives.
