Mission

Global links is a non-profit dedicated to improving health in communities with need. Global links collaborates with u.s. Healthcare institutions and the community to rescue hundreds of tons of high-quality surplus medical materials every year. These materials are shared with public health facilities around the world and with non-profit organizations in western pennsylvania that are providing care for their community's most vulnerable people.

Programs

1 program

Our domestic programs include: 1. Domestic medical aid that supports safety net organizations, serving vulnerable populations in western pennsylvania and beyond to improve the health, dignity, mobility and independence of our neighbors. We work with agencies serving seniors' families, people with disabilities, homeless or other sheltered populations and immigrants/refugees to provide medical supplies and equipment, mobility aids, personal hygiene supplies, nebulizers through our breathe hope project and other key items. 2. Our community engagement and volunteer program provides hands-on or virtual service opportunities for volunteers of all ages and abilities to sort, assess and prepare materials for donations in our aid programs. 3. Our medical surplus recovery program advocates for and collects the donated materials needed in our aid programs, turning our region's surplus into lifesaving and life proving donations.
