Mission
In 2024, the global opportunity fund deepened its community-centered, sustainable development work across kenya, ghana, and uganda, continuing our mission to uplift women, children, and entire communities through access, education, and empowerment. Our approach focuses on building local capacity and long-term self-reliance by integrating vocational training, infrastructure development, and direct services. In ghana, we completed and fully equipped a modern maternity ward that now provides essential care to over 3,000 individuals across eight communities. We also broke ground on a farming institute designed to train local women in sustainable agriculture-empowering them with practical tools to support their families and communities. In kenya, construction advanced on our combined culinary and farming training center, which not only offers skill-building programs but also serves hot meals to elderly individuals and vulnerable children-addressing immediate needs while cultivating long-ter
