China Programs: Highlights of the programs include: supporting Mandarin Chinese language programs in 39 schools in North Carolina, impacting approximately 6,100 students; offering virtual professional development workshops for Chinese language teachers; and supporting schools in recruiting and hiring local Chinese language teachers.

Global Leaders: Global Leaders programs are designed to help policy, business, and community leaders focus on international business, education, and trade opportunities for North Carolina. Global Leaders alumni are better positioned to guide NC through global challenges and opportunities in areas of strategic importance. Highlights include: working with more than 120 community, business, education and policy leaders in western North Carolina to explore opportunities and develop recommendations to grow the aginnovation/agribusiness ecosystem in the region. XX of these leaders participated in an immersion study program to the Netherlands to explore best practices in agtech, controlled environment agriculture, and water management.
