Event parking district: the lloyd cycle station is a world-class controlled-access bike parking facility for anyone residing or working in the neighborhood.bike parking is free for employees of the lloyd 700 building, $20 a month for members joining from american assets trust buildings, and $25 a month for members joining from lloyd-area residences.since 2022, lloyd has been a designated event parking district. This means that during events with more than 12,000 attendees, parking meter rates are tripled to incentivize visitors to bike, take transit, or carpool to events. This designation helps to manage on-street parking demand more efficiently for residents, and lowers traffic congestion by reducing the number of cars circling for parking. Further, revenue from the event parking district helps to fund improvements around the neighborhood.go lloyd has worked with pbot since 2021 to collect and measure local parking data - initially to establish the event parking district, and now to help pbot determine rate adjustments.this year we completed our fourth parking study overall and third with event-based pricing implemented. We are encouraged by the results of the first few years with this designation, and will continue to facilitate this parking management initiative as more events return to lloyd.

Community reinvestment:by city administration rule, 51% of net revenue from the lloyd parking meter district gets reinvested in the neighborhood, and the meter revenue allocation committee (mrac)prioritizes those funds for projects that enhance the transportation system and the neighborhood as a whole. While revenues have slowed in recent years, we continue to make investments, albeit smaller, in transportation infrastructure such as bicycle parking, speed reader boards, and real-time transit trackers throughout the neighborhood (in cooperation with transit board). Go lloyd is grateful for its role in shaping parking policy and guiding transportation infrastructure investments in lloyd.$1.95 million reinvested in lloyd over the past 14 years.

Access for all - transportation wallet:the portland bureau of transportation (pbot) transportation wallet: access for all program offers free passes and credits to people living on low income, which can be used on transit, bikeshare, rideshare, and e-scooter services. This two-year pilot program was paid for by the parking climate and equitable mobility transaction fee and administered by local community partners.working with pbot, go lloyd completed its second year of the program in 2024, offering three packages tailored to suit different users' specific needs. Coordinating with pbot and our residential partners, go lloyd distributed 115 local wallets this year. Since the funding cycle with pbot has now completed, go lloyd will apply for a metro grant to continue to ensure all lloyd residents retain equal access to public transportation in 2025.

Brand refresh:in 2024, go lloyd launched a redsigned website with clearer, more intuitive user navigation. Older content was consolidated or removed in order to present a leaner and more navigable interface, all with a goal of making our invaluable resources more accessible to more of our community.beyond simply rethinking the basic information architecture of the website, we also brought our beloved brand colors and typefaces into a more contemporary context, adding handdrawn illustrations and new photography to create a warmer, more cohesive, and more distinguishable visual identity.this year we also began the pbot permitting process to allow us to replace tired streetlight banners with a fresh design. We also applied for more banner locations, since they act as essential visual cues at major access points and travel corridors within lloyd. With installation slated for the spring of 2025, we are optimistic about the positive impact this small but notable place-making infrastructure will have on how folks perceive our neighborhood, whether they are going to work, enjoying a game or concert, or simply traveling through.

Community partnerships:max commuter mornings - this year, go lloyd partnered with trimet to greet and engage commuters on max platforms at the rose quarter and ne 7th avenue. These morning outreach events were designed to promote connections with actual lloyd commuters, in order to educate them about the free resources available from our officers and act as a visual symbol of a unified community at key transit hubs.street art enhancement - with support from portland street art alliance, prosper portland, the regional arts and cultural council, and local property owners, go lloyd began the process of expanding public art offering in lloyd this year, in an effort to enhance the pedestrian experience and make our streets more inviting to all. With several new murals in the works due in 2025, we are excited about the opportunity to bring even more color and expression to the lloyd neighborhood. Breakfast on the bridges - powered entirely by volunteers for the past twenty years, this beloved tradition welcomes bike commuters to share coffee and community on bikeable bridges across portland the last friday of each month, rain or shine. The lloyd neighborhood is home to two permanent locations - the east end of the steel bridge and the north landing of the blumenauer bridge - and go lloyd is proud to sponsor donuts at blumenauer each month.mobility committee - go lloyd's mobility committee helps to make biking, walking, and rolling in lloyd safe, fun, convenient, and easy. The committee is made up of volunteer representatives from local businesses and residences and provides input on go lloyd's programs and plans. In 2024, the committee's most notable achievement was starting a neighborhood bike bus, an organized group of cyclists who ride together along a designated route and schedule. This new initiative encouraged lloyd commuters to try a more sustainable way of getting to work in a fun, safe, and supportive way. We collected data from local commuters, then organized routes based on our findings. Seasoned ride leaders guided folks on coordinated rides from se and ne neighborhoods to lloyd. Each lloyd bike bus morning ended with coffee and community in hassalo plaza. The format of a low stakes option to try a new active commute both improved novice cyclists' confidence and encouraged community. This pilot program is just one example of the type of actionable and effective ideas that come out of mobility committee meetings.tuneup days - in 2024, go lloyd continued offering one free safety tune-up service a month to local cyclists, stylized as tuneup tuesday (or thursday) to increase name recognition. Working with our partners from pdx mobile bike repair and earth bicycle service, we scheduled the events to complement various community happenings, and offered games, prizes, and resources to engage folks while they waited to see a mechanic.
