Living history school program. Hands on settler experience with multiple stationson the museum grounds for 4th grade classes. Program includes lessons on local american indians, maidu tribe. Part of california school curriculum and attendedby 50-60 classes of 25+students per class and their parents over a 5 month period.

Days of living history. An end of summer weekend event for the whole community toparticipated in the activities of the early settlers. Attended by 5,000 viewers.

Pow wow. A weekend of recognition and history of local indians and their contribution to the area then and now. Honoring their atristic and culturaltraditions.
