Safety, continuity, and outreach - the bid works in partnership with local social service providers to help transition homeless individuals into housing and to provide necessary services. Safety specialists have been added to create a safety presence, build relationships with properties and retailers, and report and respond to incidents.

Public space improvements - the organization works with local and federal agencies to improve the public spaces of the golden triangle through public art, landscaping, rain gardens, and street furniture. The bid obtains grants to fund purchases where possible. The organization purchases physical improvements and deploys them throughout the bid. Physical improvement expenditures are expensed as incurred. The bid does not own or use these assets in its operations; rather, they are provided for the benefit of the general public inside the bid zone.

Community activities and recovery efforts - the organization works to provide various public services to the constituents of the bid, including indoor and outdoor events, exercise classes, emergency preparedness initiatives, and other programs. The bid also helps local, regional, and national retail businesses find the perfect downtown location. As economic recovery continues in the neighborhood, the bid is working with the dc government to develop a plan that reimagines the downtown and sets forward an implementation plan. The bid has also taken a more active role in marketing the neighborhood, activating public spaces to attract workers and visitors, and bringing in art initiatives.

Marketing and communications - the bid works to convey a public image of the district of columbia as a safe, clean, attractive, and world-class destination for businesses. As well as for government institutions and tourism. The goal is to communicate the diversity and vitality of the golden triangle bid area, attract tenants, encourage a return to office and to support businesses.

Innovation district - the bid works with george washington university, washington d.c. Government, washington d.c. Economic partnership ("wdcep"), and other partners to create an innovation district within the golden triangle boundaries. The innovation district is built off the existing presence of three key tech sectors in medtech, govtech, and edtech while focusing on the broader themes of equity, social innovation and digital engagement.
