Food Programs/Special Programs: We are dedicated to actively seeking out, collecting, and distributing donated perishable and non-perishable food to help fulfill the needs of the ill, underserved, and at-risk residents of Hamilton County. We believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious food, and our team works diligently to ensure that donations reach local food pantries and are available to our participants during our holiday assistance program.In addition, GSN is actively engaged in offering a variety of special programs that not only provide essential resources but also create valuable development opportunities. Our initiatives, including the Backpack Program, the BABE Store, REHAB Equipment Link, Recycled Cycles, and Cancer Services, are thoughtfully designed to support and empower individuals, and strengthen our community.

We are pleased to provide financial assistance for Hamilton County families, delivering crucial support during emergencies and crises. Whether individuals are facing unexpected housing expenses, struggling with utility bills, needing food assistance, requiring vehicle repairs, or seeking medical care, we are dedicated to finding grants, resources, and providing referrals that allow us to support and meet people at their needs. Our comprehensive and holistic community-wide / network approach enables GSN to create a positive impact in the lives of our clients when they need it most, offering not just assistance but also hope and empowerment during their most challenging times.

Tobacco Prevention & Cessation Program (TPC) - Smoke-free Hamilton County is a program funded by the Indiana State Department of Health Tobacco Prevention & Cessation Commission. It aims to achieve the following priorities: decrease youth smoking rates; decrease exposure to secondhand smoke; decrease adult smoking rates, as well as to build and maintain an infrastructure to lower tobacco use rates. It is directly coordinated through Partnership for a Healthy Hamilton County, Good Samaritan Network fiscal agent.
