Goodwill industries of central florida, inc. Is a 501c3 that resells donated goods to fulfill its mission of building lives that work. Gicf provides community members and 1400 employees with programs that increase economic mobility and career advancement. Programs offered in brevard, lake, orange, osceola, volusia, and seminole counties provide financial coaching, career and education planning, on the job training, skills building, job placement, resource connectivity, and post-employment support.

We build lives that work through our donated goods retail and by delivering services to community members and employees that increase economic mobility and connect people to stability resources. Our prosperity platform gives people one to one coaching to improve financial, career, and educational outcomes. Among the 254 prosperity platform members served in 2024, 72% saw increased economic mobility. 100% of the 1,817 people served by goodwill connects were able to gain valuable connections to supportive services to avert or overcome life crises. In partnership with vita we were able to assist 309 people with free income tax preparation services. Our employment specialists guided 1,129 community members in resume creation, mock interviewing, and job placement assistance. Together, these programs create a supportive web that empowers people to achieve their life goals with guided assistance and one to one coaching.
