Goodwill Industries Of Eastern North Carolina Inc

Education - GIENC provided educational opportunities to 5,197 learners within local and regional communities throughout eastern North Carolina via its online learning platform. Two Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematic (STEAM) labs were designed and built for local youth based organizations serving 770 youth. GIENC's CARF accredited Accelerated Career Training program graduated 222 individuals who were awarded over $5,750 in stipends upon graduation. Mobile STEAM boxes were deployed to 13 partner sites across eastern North Carolina serving 1,091 youth. 60 workshops and 15 clinics were conducted teaching workforce development skills.

Life Enrichment - GIENC has provided $1,525,000 in grants to local and regional nonprofits through its Agency Empowerment Program including $200,000 for emergency disaster relief. GIENC Feeds program served over 8,000 individuals through the distribution of $130,000 in food vouchers, 70,500 pounds of food and 4,700 food boxes.
