Goodwill industries of houston (gwi) is an autonomous, community based nonprofit corporation which provides rehabilitation services, training, placement and employment for people with disabilities and persons with special needs.

Programs

Gwh's job connection service centers provide job training and placement for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Services include community referrals, work readiness training, life skills and money management, job skills training (in-house or by referral), job search assistance, vocational guidance, job placement services, and job retention services. In 2024, goodwill featured programs serving persons with disabilities, histories of incarceration, youth, and at-risk families. Last year, goodwill served over 10,000 individuals in the community. Revenues do not include federal grants of $647,609. If these grants were included in revenues, the total revenue would be $5,460,909.
