Mission
To provide vocational opportunities to individuals with barriers to employment. In 2024, goodwill industries of lane and south coast counties provided services to 2,643 individuals.
Programs

Employment and vocational training for developmentally disabled individuals - provides employment and vocational services to adults (age 18+) with disabilities who require long-term assistance to maintain employment. Services include job coaching, case management, communication assistance, and more.
Job connections - provides job seekers with the resources, tools and counseling necessary to find immediate employment in the community. This free service is open to the public and assists job seekers to identify and market their skills through effective applications, resume and cover letter development. The service offers coaching regarding interview techniques, job search strategies, personal appearance and other topics. Participants are also given labor market information and appropriate job referrals. Employment workshops are offered on a monthly basis.
Work experience - provides recipients of public assistance with work experience. This program prepares them for entry into the competitive labor market. Services include job coaching, mentoring, and building of skills necessary for private employment. Job placement services - assists individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment to identify vocational interest, research job opportunities, and obtain competitive employment. Homeless veterans reintegration program (hvrp) - offers job and career assistance for veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Veteran specialists offer participant-targeted assistance in resume preparation, overcoming gaps in employment history, educational assistance and/or training, interview preparation, interview and/or work clothing options, and placement assistance in job or career areas of their interest and/or expertise. Hvrp assists veterans using a broad list of other networks in the lane county community.
