Contract services: various contracted services provide revenue for job readiness skills training/education and work assessment for goodwill industries of northwest ohio's workforce development mission services programs. The majority of contracts include commercial cleaning and commercial lawn care services. The contracts provide space for on-the-job training, assessments and placement opportunities for program participants. This department has nearly 40 contracts throughout northwest ohio, employs over 70 team members, and is considered to be mission integrated.

Mission services: goodwill builds dignity and enhances quality of life for individuals and families throughout northwest ohio through the power of work by eliminating barriers and providing opportunities. Our mission services team, identifies individual's work interests, abilities and competitive employment barriers related to job readiness skills. We work with each client one-on-one through our workforce development programs in order to promote employment and financial independence. In 2024, we proudly served over 9,000 individuals with in-person and virtual workforce development programs, and placed over 488 individuals into jobs throughout northwest ohio. In order to enhance our client's workforce development experience, goodwill collaborates with over 50 partners throughout our 13 counties to ensure wraparound services are available for barrier removal.rvices are available for barrier removal.
