Goodwill industries of the redwood empire is a non-profit organization that offers employment, education and related services to adults and transitional-aged youth expereincing a disadvantaging condition. Goodwill defines disadvantaged individuals as those with a barrier to employment such as a disability, a criminal background, and/or a low education level. Goodwill has shown a commitment to expanding occupational opportunites for people with special needs. Job training and employment play a critical role in our philosophy of empowering individuals. Job placement is one of the measures of our success.
