The primary exempt purpose of Gorge Roller Girls Inc is to promote and develop the amateur sport of roller derby while empowering women and gender-expansive individuals through athletic participation leadership and community engagement As a nonprofit and member of the Womens Flat Track Derby Association WFTDA the league provides opportunities for skill development physical fitness teamwork and personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment Additionally the organization fosters community involvement through public events volunteerism and educational programs including its Junior Roller Derby program which encourages youth participation and cultivates future generations of athletes and leaders
