PROPERTY ACQUISITION - This program includes the permanent protection of property acquired either by purchase or donation, or by conservation easement. The GLT conducts long term planning to determine appropriate priority corridors in the town, and concentrates its acquisition efforts in those areas. These efforts are conducted by volunteers and professionals and include the evaluation, negotiation and completion of new land acquisition projects.
PUBLIC OUTREACH - This program is focused on promoting public awareness in the community about the importance of land preservation and conservation and activities of the Granby Land Trust to protect the natural heritage of the town.
