Grand Encampment Museum Inc

The museum provides historical education programs to youth who come to the museum as part of a school field trip or part of a summer camp. Youth are engaged in historical activities and are exposed to historical music, artifacts and lore.

The museum provides historical content each year to the public for free during a two day history symposium in august. A variety of speakers are brought in to talk about selected historical content decided by the board. Speakers are authors, historians, and videographers who specialize in the topics at hand. The museum applied for and was granted by the wyoming humanities council a 2,000 grant to aide in the costs to get the speakers to come to this event.
